DiSarra Family from Pescosolido

Updated July 15, 2024

This tree traces four offspring of Giovanni DiSarra and Maria Sarrechia from the small town of Pescosolido in the Frosinone region of Lazio in the early 1700s. Each of their four children’s ancestral line is a separate color. Some DiSarras are also listed as simply Sarra. It wasn’t until the late 1800s that Francisco DiSarra from Pescosolido married Cristina Bianchi from VVL (as noted by the gray boxes). Thus the DiSarras became a part of Villavallelonga.

There is a separate page showing the DiSarras in VVL since the full tree shows ten generations and is too long to show here. PDFs or JPGs of the full list can be provided on request.

A mystery: Is the DiSarra name a derivative of Baldesarra(e) since it appears in both Sora and Pescosolido genealogies?
