This document might confirm Angelina’s brother Leucio’s WWI death while serving in the Italian army. The father’s name, town and birth date match.

In 1917 Pasquale registered for WWI. He was not a naturalized citizen at the time. We assume he did not actually serve due to family responsibilities and/or language issues. This also confirms they were living at 184 Jay St at the time.

Women could receive all expense paid nurse training as well as wages during WWII. They would have to commit to serve for two years. She was admitted to the corps in 1943 but did graduate until June 1945 at which point the war in Europe, at least, was over.
