Records for Pasquale’s father Antonio shows two marriages: 1880 to Francesca Alonzi and 1884 to Maddelena Francesca Alonzo.

Pasquale’s birth certificate of Sept 1884 clearly shows Francesca as his mother. When did Francesca die?

According to US marriage records, Maddelena is listed as both Biagio’s and Enrico’s mother and Antonio is their father. Maddelena’s father was Biagio so the Italian naming tradition remains.
