Pasquale and Angelina were married on November 22, 1906. Witnesses were LUIGI and PRIMO BIANCHI. Just six months later Pasquale sailed for America from Naples on May 10, 1907 on the ship called the Princess Irene. He arrived at Ellis Island on May 23, 1907 along with members of the Lippa, Palozzi and Bianchi families from VVL. He was the only one from Sora on that ship.
The Princess Irene was a German ship that was “transferred” to the US Navy in 1917, renamed the USS Pocahontas, and used for troop transport. It was sold back to a German company in 1921.
